My name is Mathias Wennergren and I’m a Swedish software developer and blogger. This is one of my sites, the English, international one that is. See it as the hub of my activities and a portfolio. Yes, it’s no longer just art directors, and web designers that are allowed to have portfolios, beware the new era, where common developers join the fun club.
More about me? Well formerly of the species long haired metal monkey, wielding my rebellious six stringed axe of guitar madness! You know the real ones, not the little ones, made of plastic that everyone seems to be playing nowadays ;).
But I later evolved into the more respectable, and much more profitable wage slave species, shorter hair, and more in tune with my tech side. I’m now working as a senior software developer and project manager for a Swedish company, developing meters for quality assurance of medical X-ray equipment. Scandinavian quality!
Skills includes, but are not limited to: Over ten years of experience in software development, Delphi on the Windows platform. C/C++ for both Windows, embedded systems and Palm OS. XML, different areas of web design, and different CMS platforms, like for instance WordPress.
Been developing on handheld and touch screen platforms since the turn of the millennium, and mobile solutions is close at heart, resulting in a very good knowledge of Palm OS, Symbian, Windows Mobile, and now also Android.
